SWANSEA’S TRAIN STATION TO GET MAJOR FACELIFT

Swansea’s High Street Station will be the first in Wales to benefit from a £194 million pound investment in Wales’ railway stations.
Work has already commenced and will see improvements with free WiFi, secure cycle storage, visitor information, new and expanded retail outlets and improved waiting facilities.
Swansea Council leader Rob Stewart applauded TfW’s investment in the station bringing a brighter, fresher, more modern welcome to rail users into Swansea which complements the council’s plans to regenerate the city centre and the High Street area.
